Martin Stopford to Annual Summit 2012

Bulkforum Annual Summit is meant to focus mainly on the long-term perspective, as will be the case this year too: On Monday 7 May, professor Victor D. Norman will present early findings from the Crisis, Restructuring and Growth programme together with professor Øystein Thøgersen, both from NHH. Their presentations will be commented by industry leaders Jens Ulltveit-Moe from Umoe AS, Øyvind Gjerde from Wilson ASA, Frank Solberg from Sibelco Europe, and Kai Grøtterud from Yara International ASA.

 

Vision 2050 will be presented by Per R. Sandberg and Ola Ekern Rugsveen, both from Accenture. Discussions will concentrate on implications and opportunities for the maritime industry.

Bjørn Richard Johansen from First House will be the pre-dinner speaker.

The Annual Summit Dinner on Monday 7 May will be a good event to mingle with people from the industry.

On Tuesday 8 May, Martin Stopford will look at market developments, and Finn Engelsen Jr. from Joachim Grieg & Co will close the summit with a lecture on the coming oil fuel crisis and consequences and solutions for the maritime industry.
